Are you in Grades 8-12 or have just finished Grade 12?
If so, YOU are invited to the First Youth Ideas Forum! Co-hosted by MP Craig Scott and Beaches-East York MP Matt Kellway, the forum aims to connect what goes on in Parliament to ideas and solutions put forward by youth to overcome the challenges we face in Toronto, Canada and the world.
When: September 15 and 16, 2012
Where: The Projection Booth (the riding’s vintage cinema) at 1035 Gerrard St East, just west of Jones
Why: Because society has much to learn from youth and youth engagement can stimulate positive change in society!
At this forum, we will present films chosen over the summer by a youth selection committee, followed by youth brainstorming sessions on how to move forward with your ideas.
