Canada Day in Riverdale Park / East Chinatown

Where: Southern End of Riverdale Park (near the Broadview/Gerrard intersection)
The celebration in the southern end of Riverdale Park near the Broadview/Gerrard intersection includes lots of family activities. Coordinated by the East Chinatown Chamber of Commerce with the assistance of Bridgepoint Hospital, Eastview Community Centre, Ralph Thornton Centre, SEAS Centre, Woodgreen Community Services, along with Paula Fletcher, City Councillor, Peter Tabuns, MPP and my office. There will be stage performances, art and crafts, a ‘bouncy castle’ for kids, games for seniors, tents with agencies’ information displays. Food vendors are also expected to set up outside restaurants at Broadview/Gerrard. The Chamber of Commerce will also be promoting the various bike routes coming to Riverdale Park.
The opening ceremony will begin at 1-1:15 pm. MPP Peter Tabuns and City Councillor Paula Fletcher and I will join everyone of you for the celebration.
